History Lover's Summer Tour

First, the thrill of a summit - Mount Kearsarge, the highest point in Merrimack County, with an open summit offering spectacular views.
Head to Rollins State Park in Warner for a family-friendly trail, which is just a half mile from picnic area to summit, though the climb gets steep in parts. If you want to work for your view, take a 1.5-mile hike up the other side of the mountain starting at Winslow State Park in Wilmot. |
